WORK DAYS: 184 days, 1.0 FTEJOB SUMMARY: The District School Library Media Teacher/Librarian plans, administers, and provides the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the library media program is an integral part of the instructional program for the District’s schools, in compliance with guidelines and regulations determined by the administration, Board of Education, state and federal agencies. The District School Library Media Teacher/Librarian functions as an information specialist, teacher, and instructional partner who will create an environment that encourages learning, motivates students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to establish and continue a firm foundation to perpetuate the learning experience within the library and instructional programs.
