Nothing gets my kids more excited than this easy cookie pizza recipe. It’s almost like my Sugar Cookie Bars with Cream CheeseFrosting but topped with all your favorite sweet treats. I try to only make it for super special occasions, but I can’t resist because it’s so fun and easy to make!
My kids always work right alongside me and we make and decorate our cookie “pizza” together. It’s the best family activity and a great way to celebrate!

- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips

- 1 – 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 – 8oz container whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Candy of your choice

- Line a 12-inch round pizza pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Add the butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Cream the ingredients together until they’re smooth and fluffy.
- Add the egg and beat again until well combined.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda to mix and remove any lumps.
- Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.

Tips Tricks and FAQs
- You can use nonstick cooking spray if you don’t have any parchment paper. It’ll help the cookie pizza not stick, but parchment paper is great because you can remove it so easily. You also want to cool the cookie on a wire rack and transferring it is so much easier with parchment paper!
- If you can find a pizza pan that is at least ½ inch deep, it’ll be very helpful. It’s so much easier to press the cookies into a deep dish pan. It also helps to prevent any sort of spilling over while the cookie bakes.
- Turn this dessert back into a personal treat by spreading the cookie crust into smaller circles on a baking sheet and topping with the same frosting.
